I had a birthday…number 39..here is an awesome mermaid my mom got from fellow artist, Gina Bonds, at the Fred Heutte show…
Another bit of awesomeness is this sweet kitty made for me by my step-mom, Judy ….the pictures do neither of these two beauties justice…
. I have actually finished this little hippo since this photo…and she is so cute it’ll be hard to give her up…but I know one special 1 year old who will love her forever.

I organized a craft show at Stoney’s Produce…it was last weekend…15 talented folks set up shop to peddle there handmade goodness….

Gardening, gardening, gardening….

peas coming up…along with a few cucumbers that didn’t fit in there allotted area…

I am so grateful to have my mom out there helping me…weeding, moral support, and great company….
We can’t take credit for this volunteer….I am thinking it sunflowers…you can see some zinnias coming up…which I will end up having to transplant this weekend since I seeded on top of them self seeding! Tons of sprouts are coming up! It’s been so darn windy I haven’t been able to spread my leaves for mulch..maybe this weekend.

Here’s a row of cucs and butternut squash…with tomatoes and basil on the end caps…and onions planted along the row…b/c I read they could help keep the squash bugs off…I have the onions planted all around my squash varieties…I hope it helps.
